Financial development and innovationled economic growth: Empirical insight from sub-Saharan Africa

چکیده

The body of literature on the nexus concerning innovation, development financial systems, and economic growth has gained increasing attention in recent times. However, it is observed that majority studies are conducted developed emerging economies. This study unique its own right by exploring effect innovation using panel data for 30 sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) countries from 2001-2018. employed symmetric ARDL, common correlated asymmetric ARDL. Our empirical findings revealed a long-run SSA. means expansion sector better activities SSA stimulate long-term growth. Robustness tests provided consistent results with baseline findings. therefore recommends to promote sustained region, policy makers must collectively work close collaboration relevant stakeholders enhancing regional reforms innovative activities.
